Matrix Engineering Consultants has the depth of design experience to truly reverse engineer existing products and to deliver detailed information beyond CAD models.
Working in collaboration with our process partners, MEC has the ability to gather both dimensional and material properties for most products using can be measured using 3D scanning technologies like CMMs, laser scanners, structured light digitizers . After creating the accurate CAD model, we conduct design for manufacturability reviews along with detailed tolerance stacks to enable create detailed drawings.
What differentiates MEC from the typical inspection shop is that we have the ability to interpret/rationalize inspection data and to make recommendations for design (including tolerances appropriate for manufacturing).
